ben, this made me think of your chemistry experiments with ouzo.
after consuming some of this licorice liquid and efes
we walked to a small pita place and got cay and (spicy) potato pita.
i think istanbul is going to be a lot of fun.
i’ve only been here a few days, but once i meet some turks
and start to learn the language
it will be smooth sailing and feel like home.
